Yarrabilba will become home to approximately 45,000 + people upon completion.

Approximately 17,000 residential dwellings in addition to a town centre, neighbourhood hubs and community, education and employment facilities will be delivered upon completion.

Open Space and Recreation

Over 25% of the site will be reserved for open space, including environmental corridors, bushland reserves, parks, landscaped areas and playing fields. Later this year, Yarrabilba will launch the first Super Park including the region's first Water Park.


A comprehensive range of education facilities will be offered, from early child care and learning to secondary and potentially higher learning including 11 schools by government and private education providers. As a fully master planned community, there will also be a range of services and facilities to meet the needs of the Yarrabilba community including:

Yarrabilba welcomed the sale of land for its new school recently with the signing of a contract with Brisbane Catholic Education for the project's first school.

The new school will cater for up to 770 students from grades prep to year six.  Construction on the four hectare site could commence as early as 2016.

Shopping and Lifestyles

Yarrabilba will offer a Village Centre consisting of a full line supermarket and a range of complementary offers in the first neighbourhood. Longer term, the Yarrabilba ‘Proposed Land Use Master Plan’ offers a mixed use Town Centre including retail, commercial, community and higher density residential uses; two District Centres; five Village Centres; over 100ha of Mixed Industry and Business area for a range of employment generating uses.

A range of additional regional shopping and lifestyle options are located within a 20 minute drive including Grand Plaza shopping centre and the Hyperdome shopping centre.


Yarrabilba will be developed as a walkable community with an extensive pedestrian and cycle path network, as well as local community and recreation facilities adjacent to each neighbourhood centre. 

The first homes are currently under construction with the first residents to move in later this year.

Living Options

Yarrabilba will offer a comprehensive range of living options and feature  a large home Display Village in the first neighbourhood  The Yarrabilba Display Village will be opening in 2013 with an extensive range of national, state and local builders showcasing over 40 homes. There will be a wide range of homes on display from the most affordable to homes designed for larger families.

Block sizes will range from 200m² - 900m² and Home & Land packages are also be available.
