Our retail story

Lend Lease has extensive experience in constructing, developing and managing Australian retail centres. We manage 16 regional and sub-regional shopping centres across Australia, many on behalf of our investment management funds and partners.  Each year more than 115 million people visit one of our centres, where the retail mix ranges from big name tenants such as Virgin Active, General Pants and Witchery to small, local boutiques. Our retail portfolio is valued at $4.7bn and includes flagship centres such as MidCity Centre in Sydney and Caneland Central in Mackay, Queensland. We also have more than $1bn of retail developments in the pipeline. We work in close partnership with our owners, retailers and suppliers to create integrated shopping environments that are commercially successful as well as socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.

Lend Lease developed and continues to manage Caneland Central, one of Australia’s most successful shopping centres and the strongest performing asset in the Lend Lease portfolio.
