Lend Lease has a proud history in the Chicago area, one that is rich in projects that have contributed to the distinctive face and personality of the region. Since 1976, the office has completed more than 600 projects valued at well over $19 billion including landmark projects such as the Harold Washington Library Center, the Navy Pier Reconstruction, Chicagoland Speedway, Children’s Memorial Medical Center, the O’Hare International Airport Development program and Trump International Hotel & Tower.

Recent completions include the 155 North Wacker and 353 North Clark Class A office towers; 505 North State, a mixed use development with hospitality and residential space; One Museum Park East and West, two residential towers in the South Loop; and 200 Squared at Lake and Wells and 1233 North Wells, two luxury residential apartment buildings in the Loop and River North, respectively.

Current projects underway include Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Outpatient Care Pavilion; 500 North Lake Shore Drive, a residential high-rise; 111 West Wacker, the transition of a building that was abandoned during mid-construction into luxury into a luxury apartment building; Clark and Grand Hotels, a new hotel with three signature hotel brands; and renovations and additions to The University of Chicago’s Laboratory Schools.

In addition, the Lend Lease Chicago office served as construction manager for the Chicago Public Schools’ Capital Improvement Program, more than 20 suburban school districts, and has completed assignments for institutions of higher learning such as The University of Chicago, Northwestern University and Illinois Institute of Technology.

This long and productive experience in the Chicago market has allowed Lend Lease to cultivate relationships with the most accomplished and dependable trade contractors, suppliers and specialty consultants. Our longevity in the marketplace also speaks to our command of local construction regulations, our knowledge of oversight processes and our strong working relationship with local agency officials.
