The $3.4 billion, 35-storey hotel is due for completion at the end of 2017. It’s part of Darling Harbour’s 20-hectare urban regeneration and the first new major luxury hotel in the Sydney CBD since the 2000 Olympics.

Fernando Casas, ICC Sydney Hotel Construction Manager, said, “We’ve made amazing progress on the hotel since the ground floor was poured in August 2015, with the last pour just last week.

“The team achieved 20 four-day cycles on the typical deck, with one three-day cycle achieved on the last typical deck pour.

“Congratulations to the whole team on the achievement of topping out Sydney’s newest five-star hotel.”
