We’ve built long-running relationships with innovative developers such as Stanhope, British Land, Land Securities and Allied London, and a strong body of work for owner/occupiers such as Vodafone and Unilever. 

Our fully integrated offer includes project management, design and engineering, construction and move management. Our design team provided extensive BIM Technology services, including detailed 4D and 3D CAD support, for the refurbishment of BBC Broadcasting House. Our consulting services are also in-demand in the commercial office sector, where we’ve done new builds, refurbishments and fit-outs for repeat clients such as Deutsche Bank, BP, HSBC and BT.  We’re also known for our specialist skills in pre-construction feasibility and global procurement.

HM Treasury and HM Revenue and Customs, Whitehall, London, UK

Treasury

We provided construction services for the £262 million refurbishment of these iconic, heritage-listed buildings. The two-phase Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project involved sensitive remodelling to create modern workspaces for 3,000 civil servants. We overcame a number of structural challenges to boost usable workspaces by 40 per cent, and completed both phases on time and budget.

Manchester Civil Justice Centre, Spinningfields, Manchester, UK

Lend Lease was contracted to construct the €166.5 million headquarters of the Department for Constitutional Affairs in Manchester. The multi award-winning building sits on a north-south axis, with a slender rectangular plan and is divided vertically into different uses. It provides 47 courtrooms and 75 consulting rooms, together with additional office and support space. The Civil Justice Centre is the largest court complex built outside London, and the largest built since the Law Courts in 1878. The project achieved a 20 per cent reduction in energy consumption and an excellent BREEAM rating.

Barnsley Digital Media Centre

Lend Lease provided consulting services to Barnsley Metropolitan Council for the development of this 3,000m2 office building. It’s claimed to be the first biomass heated digital media centre.
