Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center

Lend Lease provided construction management services for New York- Presbyterian Hospital’s world class, high performance Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center, totaling 140,000 square feet.  Located on the Hospital’s West 168th Street campus, the Heart Center is an addition to the existing Milstein building.

The Heart Center’s medical space expands all radiology, ultrasound, phlebotomy rooms, and cardiology interventional suites. The ambulatory surgery room extends into the new center. The project includes a total of eight new operating rooms, 26 prep/recovery beds and 20 Intensive Care Unit beds.  Public space consists of an education conference center and atrium. The auditorium seats 200 and has a total of four meeting rooms.

Medical Center of TrinityIn 2010, the Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center received a LEED-NC Gold Certification; making New York-Presbyterian the first hospital in the Mid-Atlantic to receive a LEED Gold designation and one of only six hospitals in the country with a Gold or Platinum designation.

The Lend Lease was selected by 7-Eleven, Inc. to be the service provider of construction services of their new construction portfolio across the United States and Canada. Multi-Site construction service responsibilities were assumed in the beginning of 2011 as part of a three-year agreement.

Atlantic Marine Corps Communities, Multiple Locations, USA

Atlantic Marine Corp Community

This is the largest single Military Housing Privatization project at Lend Lease. It consists of 11 community centers, parklands and open spaces as well as an innovative recycling and reuse program.  We are responsible for ongoing maintenance and management of 8,059 homes until 2055. The project is also the largest residential solar thermal energy project in the United States.

Privatization of Army Lodging, Various Locations, USA

Privatized Army Lodging

In August 2009, Lend Lease assumed ownership of over 3,200 hotel rooms located across 10 U.S. Army installations and with its partner, IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), became the first developer to begin lodging operations under the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program. In September 2010, the Army asked Lend Lease to implement the second phase of the PAL program to renovate, develop, operate and sustain on-post lodging facilities at an additional 11 U.S. Army installations, bringing the total inventory to over 8,500 hotel rooms.
