Macquarie Apartments is a luxury building of 62 harbourfront apartments, including two penthouses. It rises 17 floors above the street, complementing the 41 floor Aurora office tower it sits next to. Jacksons Landing is a joint venture between Lend Lease, Kerry Properties and Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Lend Lease is responsible for the design, development and project and construction management of these inner city apartments on the site of an old sugar dock on Pyrmont’s northern peninsula. The waterfront development includes 1,339 residential units, 35,000 square meters of commercial space and 1,000 square meters of retail space including restaurants and services and has attracted revenue in excess of $1 billion. There’s also 3.2 hectares of public open space, including four parks and a foreshore promenade.
