We have more than 40 years experience in retail developments, as well as specialist knowledge in the technology and transport sectors. We’re a leader in delivering master planned communities. We have a wealth of experience in property investment management, having launched Australia’s first unlisted property trust in 1959 and one of the nation’s leading unlisted wholesale property funds, Australian Prime Property Fund (APPF) in 1989.  We’re also a specialist in asset and property management, focusing on enhancing the value of the property and optimising income and investment opportunities for the assets’ investors.

Sydney Olympic Park

Conceived for the 2000 Olympics, Sydney Olympic Park saw the greatest number of venues co-located in Olympic history. The park had combined seating capacity for 240,000 in 12 venues and on peak days hosted over half a million people. Lend Lease was involved from an early stage and was responsible for overall master planning of the entire Olympic site, infrastructure planning, the development and project management of the Sydney International Athletic Centre and the Sydney International Aquatic Centre.

Building the Education Revolution (BER) Program, Sydney

Building Education Revolution

The BER Program represented over $1 billion worth of capital works across more than 500 schools, including NSW Government primary schools and primary schools across the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. Lend Lease also undertook new builds and upgrades to over 600 laboratories across 134 schools for the NSW Department of Commerce.  Learn more

The Gauge, Melbourne

The Gauge, Victoria Harbour, Victoria

The Gauge, Lend Lease’s Victorian Headquarters, was the first building in Australia to achieve a 6 Star Green Star Office As Built v2 Certified Rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. It was also the winner of the inaugural Built Environment Award at the Victorian Government’s 2009 Premier’s Sustainability Awards. It is setting the trend in the Docklands precinct as the first building to achieve VicUrban’s ESD Award of Excellence, which signifies World’s Best Practice in Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD). The Gauge is owned by Lend Lease managed Australian Prime Property Fund Commercial.

The Bond

One of Australia’s first Five Star Green Star commercial office buildings and the global headquarters of Lend Lease, 30 The Bond was completed in May 2004. In addition to winning a swag of industry awards, the development became the catalyst for alternative energy conservation solutions in buildings.  30 The Bond was revolutionary and can be credited with making green building credible to the rest of the industry and to corporate tenants.  Learn More

Australia Square, Sydney

Australia Square, Sydney

Australia Square in Sydney’s CBD, is one of the earliest examples of Lend Lease’s focus on social innovation. Designed and built between 1962 and 1968, our founder, Dick Dusseldorp, and architect Harry Seidler decided to change the face of city design in Australia.

The development of Australia Square was regarded as a modern masterpiece. It used new design and construction methods and new materials such as reinforced light weight concrete.The end result was Australia’s tallest circular building with a public plaza that finally eroded the barriers between office workers, tourists and passers-by. Instead Australia Square created a space where people from all walks of life could come together to meet, talk, eat and pass time.  Learn More
