Making transport easier across the world
We have extensive global experience in the construction of transportation projects, from small rail links to some of the world’s busiest airports. In Australia we’ve delivered repeat projects for large, gateway airports such as Sydney and Brisbane. Our Australian infrastructure business is also delivering key transport infrastructure such as Peninsular Link in Victoria, Clem7 tunnel in Queensland and M2, M5 and M7 motorways in Sydney.
In the USA, our projects range from electric vehicle infrastructure to the renovation of iconic transport hubs like New York’s Grand Central Terminal. In Asia, the US$100 million terminal development for Macau International Airport was just one of our many complex transport infrastructure projects. In the UK, we’ve completed more than 20 significant projects on civilian airports and military airfields, with works in excess of £350 million. Our projects around the world also include rail links, railway stations and seaport developments. With our huge team of talented professionals across many varied disciplines, there’s no job too big for us. We use a streamlined approach to complete complex, large-scale projects on time and within budget.

Lend Lease has a strong history of projects with Sydney Airport, having previously completed the Qantas Domestic Terminal and the Sydney Airport 2000 Project for the Olympics. This exemplifies our commitment to long-term client relationships and our ability to deliver complex projects while meeting the needs of all stakeholders. Our latest project was the expansion and upgrade of Sydney International Terminal, which was completed in four stages, allowing all airport operations to continue uninterrupted.

We completed project management for the expansion of the Malaysian Airline System facilities. The upgrade involved installing the latest systems to increase food production capacity to 35,000 meals a day. We ensured the facilities met the airport’s strict hygiene and temperature criteria as well as industrial equipment processes. We completed this fast-tracked project to a strict deadline, in time for the airport’s opening. Learn more
