Environment, Health and Safety

Lend Lease is committed to operating Incident & Injury Free wherever it has a presence, and aspires to leave a positive impact on the environment in all that it does.

This Environment Health & Safety Vision is supported by clearly defined Operating Disciplines, the group’s overarching Core Values, and a range of specific Environment, Health & Safety Behaviours.

To bring these elements together people across the group, must behave and operate in a manner which ensures we never compromise on Environment, Health & Safety. This Uncompromising Leadership approach is critical in delivering on our vision.

Environment Health & Safety Vision

Operate Incident & Injury Free wherever we have a presence and aspire to leave a Positive Impact on the Environment.

Operating Discipline

Implement and embed World class processes to support our vision. Our Environment, Health & Safety Management System outlines the framework for managing EH&S at all levels of the organisation and identifies the Lend Lease Group and Regional governance procedures and responsibilities for Environment, Health & Safety. The Global Minimum Requirements are a component of the management system and these set out the minimum Environment, Health & Safety standards for controlling the risks associated with all of our operations.

Behaviours

A set of specific Environment, Health & Safety behaviours which provide guidance on; what the person needs to do, how they should be doing it, and how they may be perceived when doing it.

Performance

Environment, health & safety compliance and performance reports are provided to Lend Lease Executive and Non-Executive Directors on a quarterly basis and disclosed within our Annual Report, sustainability report and securityholder review.

Lend Lease also reports externally on its environment, health & safety metrics, compliance and performance data.  Learn more.
