Lend Lease’s infrastructure services business is a specialist engineering, construction and asset management contractor, responsible for creating, operating and maintaining public and private assets serving millions of people each day in Australia and New Zealand.
We provide project engineering and construction services, including feasibility studies, design engineering, process technologies, project management and construction contracting, with a focus on gas-fired power stations, chemical plants and fuel terminals.
We are also specialists in asset and facilities management, with services including long-term operation and maintenance programs, capital upgrades, shutdown and reactive repairs, fabrication works, power distribution products and process control and automation services.
Asset management services are provided to power, water, gas and telecommunication utilities, road managers, resource companies and major industrial facilities.
Lend Lease is an end-to-end provider to the power industry, servicing generators, network operators and industrial end-users across Australia.
Generation
We are a major constructor of gas-fired power stations, with a track record of installing 13 utility and industrial plants across Australia since 1979. Services include design, construction, installation and commissioning of gas, cogeneration and renewable facilities.
Additional services to generators include refurbishments and upgrades, operation and maintenance contracting and the design and construction of plant switchyards, switchgear, protection and control systems for coal-fired and gas-fired facilities.
Transmission
We design, procure and construct high voltage line projects, delivered by our highly experienced transmission project team. We also provide transmission maintenance and upgrade services.
Distribution
We are a major provider of distribution network services, with operations in five Australian states. Services include design, construction and maintenance of underground and overhead networks, grid communications, control systems and smart meter installation programs.
Products
We manufacture and install switchgear, switchyards and protection systems for generator and network applications. We are also an appointed installer of generator transformers for a leading international supplier.
Lend Lease provides design, construction, asset maintenance, power distribution and intelligent system services to resource companies operating in metals, coal and natural gas.
Mining
We design, construct and install mine site ancillary infrastructure, such as power plants and chemical facilities. We design, manufacture and install switchgear, transportable switchrooms and relocatable substations, for surface and underground applications. We are also a leader in the design and installation of instrumentation, automation, SCADA, control and IT systems for mining applications.
A trusted provider to the nation’s largest resource companies, we deliver asset management programs for electrical, mechanical and civil services at mines and ports, including shutdown maintenance and FIFO teams. Our network of workshops and fabrication facilities is strategically located to service resource companies in Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
Natural gas
We design and construct upstream coal seam gas collection assets. We have a significant track record in the design, construction and installation of gas transmission assets, including gas plants, pumping stations and pipework.
Lend Lease provides whole-of-life support to infrastructure asset owners, including essential service utilities.
Water and gas
We are a provider of long-term operation and maintenance services to metropolitan water and gas network operators in Australia and New Zealand. Services include design and construction of assets and the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and civil infrastructure. We have a specialisation in instrumentation, telemetry and control systems for water networks.
Telecommunications
We design and construct overhead and underground fibre cable networks, including public utility networks and private communication systems. We provide long-term maintenance support to network operators on a national basis, including connections, fault rectification and optical fibre splicing services.
Roads
We are a contracted provider of operation and maintenance services for the owners of motorways, tunnels and bridges in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. We specialise in delivering tolling, camera systems, message boards, variable speed signs and other intelligent road systems.
Lend Lease is a provider of engineering design, construction, installation and life-time asset management services to industrial facilities.
Design and construction
We design and construct fuel storage terminals and piping, chemical plants, natural gas assets and power plants for industrial clients. We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of power distribution systems, as well as process automation and control services, for industrial assets.
Asset management
We provide industrial clients with asset management services, including long-term operations and maintenance contracting, shutdown programs, capital upgrades, fabrications and emergency repair services. We have an extensive track record of servicing steel, aluminium, paper, chemical, mineral processing, food processing and other facilities.
