Murray and Teena Vogt, founders and operators of Kiah, provide a one-of-a-kind support service for Indigenous Australian patients and their carers travelling to Brisbane for medical treatment.

Murray and Teena expressed immense gratitude to the Lendlease team for their support.

“Kiah relies on the support of our community to provide health services to Indigenous people from rural and remote communities. We are very grateful to Lendlease and the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade team for their support and dedication to our cause,” Murray Vogt said.

Lendlease employees, along with the support of suppliers, subcontractors and Lendlease Foundation, collaborated to achieve amazing results on the day. The work included a newly painted fence and landscaped recreational area, as well as the delivery of marketing collateral including a new logo, flyer, website and signage.

Greg Fokes, Project Director at the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade was delighted with the community spirit on the day.

“The turnout on the day was fantastic; everyone put their best foot forward to create something special for a truly important service in our local community,” Greg said.

The team are returning to Kiah Hostel in 2017 to show their support for the community.

This project is just one example of the incredible achievements of Lendlease employees on Community Day.

We are looking forward to another rewarding year of Community Day!
