We are focussed on delivering innovative solutions and managing our environmental and related risk to create high-quality, sustainable property assets for our clients. We are also committed to operating Incident & Injury Free wherever we have a presence.
Our commitment to sustainable development means we strive to design and construct energy-efficient buildings, with a particular focus on making greater use of new renewable energy sources. Bovis Lend Lease (CEMEA) recently became an official partner of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign, a European Energy Commission initiative to raise public awareness and promote sustainable energy production.

Europe is a leading advocate in the fight to halt the depletion of natural resources and prevent climate change. Bovis Lend Lease (CEMEA) recently became an official partner of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign, which is an initiative to persuade both consumers and key decision makers of the benefits of sustainable energy production and use.
Campaign partners include public and private stakeholders—local, regional and national authorities, industry, energy agencies, associations and non-government organisations. All partners must be implementing, or planning to implement, a project or a programme intended to have a significant impact upon the related energy environment in the European Union and that has a strong replication potential.
Bovis Lend Lease (CEMEA) is committed to sustainability and is closely linked with the region's key focus areas for sustainability. Becoming a partner is an expression of our commitment to the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign's objectives.
Our aim is to ensure that all Bovis Lend Lease (CEMEA) projects comply with our wider sustainability aims. We have taken steps to ensure that our offices meet the LEED Commercial and Interiors standards, and we are developing a Green Office Guide to reduce our electricity, water and waste consumption. Stringent monitoring of the indoor air quality of all our regional offices will allow us to measure our progress.
Because sustainable development is so important to our business, we have introduced a Sustainability Leadership Team to drive our Sustainability Aspirations throughout our business. We have set clear requirements for environmental and social performance at all our operations with sustainability co-ordinators assigned to each project team to ensure that they adhere to, and run, their projects in line with these controls.
Employees from a variety of disciplines are undertaking LEED accreditation as part of our drive to ensure that sustainability is incorporated and integrated into every facet of our work.
