The Lendlease Chicago office provides a wide array of construction services to an established and growing client base across all building sectors. In addition, the office is committed to developing residential and mixed-use real estate through its Urban Regeneration business.

Lendlease has a proud history in the Chicago area, one that is rich in projects that have contributed to the face and personality of the region. Since 1976, the office has completed more than 600 projects valued at well over $19 billion including landmark projects such as the Harold Washington Library Center, the Navy Pier Reconstruction, Chicagoland Speedway, Children’s Memorial Medical Center, the O’Hare International Airport Development program and Trump International Hotel & Tower.

Recent completions include 455 North Park Drive, a mixed-use development consisting of a Loews Hotel and residential apartments; Northwestern Medicine’s 259 East Erie, an outpatient care facility; OneEleven, the transition of an abandoned property into a luxury apartment tower; Ida Crown Jewish Academy, an adaptive re-use project which converted a corporate headquarters into a new high school; and the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, a historic 100 year old institution which underwent a two phase renovation and new construction program.

Current projects underway include Riverline, a new 14-acre mixed-use urban regeneration project in Chicago’s River South neighborhood; No. 9 Walton, an ultra-luxurious condominium building in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood; River Point Tower, a Class A office building located along the Chicago River; 1345 South Wabash, a residential tower located in the South Loop; Water Street District, a mixed-use development in suburban Naperville; and a network optimization program for Abbvie Inc, a biopharmaceutical company.

In addition, the Lendlease Chicago office has served as construction manager for the Chicago Public Schools’ Capital Improvement Program, more than 20 suburban school districts, and has completed assignments for institutions of higher learning including The University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Loyola University Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology.

This long and productive history in the Chicago market has allowed Lendlease to cultivate relationships with accomplished and dependable trade contractors, suppliers and specialty consultants. The firm’s longevity in the marketplace also speaks to Lendlease’s command of local construction regulations, knowledge of oversight processes and strong working relationship with local agency officials.
