Workplace of the future

5 Oct 2016

Lendlease employees from five different locations across Sydney have relocated to International Towers Sydney, Tower Three. The new office offers a new experience for our employees: an agile workplace, centered on team-based working, promoting movement and health - a workplace for the future.

For over 58 years’ we’ve been creating places to work, connect and enjoy; and we are proud to say we’ve been involved in the development of Barangaroo South from concept to delivery.

We have finally joined our new neighbours, including Westpac, KPMG, Gilbert + Tobin and Swiss Re at International Towers Sydney (ITS), bringing together over 2,000 employees, from five different locations, across Sydney.

The tower was awarded a 6 Star Green Star Office Design v3 rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. It features Australia's first breathing green wall; the six-metre high wall incorporates 5,000 plants and is scientifically proven to accelerate the removal of air pollutants, such as carbon dioxide and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Tower Three offers a new experience for our employees: an agile workplace, centred on team-based working, promoting movement and health.

Our employees are offered more choice than ever before – no longer restricted to the confines of allocated seating – they are provided with a neighbourhood, with a variety of seating options, allowing them to choose where they sit based on the task they need to complete.

Team tables, working walls and breakaway pods and are the key working areas inside Tower three.
“This incredible space showcases Lendlease’s capability – owned by a Lendlease managed fund, built by our building business, in a precinct transformed by our urban regeneration business and in a tenancy that demonstrates our understanding of vibrant, productive workspaces for our employees and our customers,” CEO, Steve McCann said.

International Towers Sydney’s Tower Three is owned by Lendlease International Towers Sydney Trust (LLITST). The tower, designed in collaboration with London-based architectural firm, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, was built by Lendlease’s Building business. The lobby and podium will showcase a range of retailers including a brand new concept from David Jones, in addition to cafes, a medical centre and a range of fresh food options.
