Eleni Reed

Eleni Reed, Head of Sustainability, provides leadership and management oversight in developing, implementing and driving Lendlease’s corporate sustainability framework in the Americas region. She leads the region’s sustainability team, which works in collaboration with the Americas business units to promote the implementation of sustainable construction practices, and to develop and oversee the execution of project sustainability strategies with both development and asset management teams, with an eye toward driving environmental efficiency, health and wellbeing, supply chain transparency and promoting community development.  Her team also manages Lendlease Foundation offerings in the region, including programs that support employee wellbeing and external activities that contribute to community development where Lendlease has a presence.  Additionaly, Eleni serves on the firm’s global sustainability leadership team.

Prior to joining Lendlease, Eleni, as Chief Greening Officer at the US General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service, integrated sustainability practices in all aspects of real estate operations to drive resource efficiency and foster healthy and productive workplaces across GSA’s national 370 million square foot portfolio. Past roles have included leading sustainability programs at Cushman & Wakefield and the Mayor’s Office of Environmental Coordination at the City of New York.

Eleni received a Master of Urban Planning degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning from the Universite de Montreal.  Professional registrations and affiliations include LEED Accredited Professional, American Institute of Certified Planners and licensed Professional Planner.
