1. What project are you currently working on?

I am currently working with Corporate Engineering in Barangaroo, but have just come off a year working on the Richmond River Bridge & Woolgoolga to Ballina Section 10/11 projects.

2. What are your day to day activities?

At the project sites, my day to day activities were things like: writing and conducting toolbox talks, site inspections and observations, planning sessions, reviewing SWMS/Management Plans, delivering the health/wellness strategy and providing general support to the operational teams.

At head office day to day is: gathering lessons learned, operational information from projects, collating activity guidance notes, helping curate the safety communication strategy and assisting with procedure rewriting and project audits.

3. What are 1-2 things you wish you knew before you started?

That your work list will constantly be re-prioritised and that’s okay, site is full of unexpected challenges every single day. Humour and flexibility are critical for the long days.

4. What has been the most rewarding professional experience since joining Lendlease?
