Joining an inclusive workplace
We have a commitment to our people, and that includes making sure our policies are inclusive of people from all backgrounds. Here are some of the inclusion practices you can expect when you join our team:
- 26 weeks of paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers. We also pay superannuation on the first year of parental leave. We acknowledge that family make look different for everyone; our parental leave includes surrogacy and adoption.
- Public holiday swap. Providing flexibility to swap three public holidays for days that have more cultural and religious significance to the individual employee.
- 6 weeks paid gender affirmation leave
- 10 days paid cultural leave to all full time and part time First Nations employees per calendar year.
- Post parental leave support. Return to work coaching and family hub support while transitioning back to the workplace after parental leave.
Our focus areas
Employee Inclusion Networks
Our Inclusion Networks are integral to building an inclusive culture and thriving business. We have several network groups to help strengthen our approach in this space and welcome all employees to take part. Chaired by an executive sponsor for each group, these networks are driving positive changes in the way we do things.
EMPLOYEE TESTIMONIAL
We aim to create a workplace that supports our people to seek happy, healthy and productive lives. We recognise our people are unique individuals with different experiences and needs at various stages of life.
