Since 2011, when we first introduced our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we have encouraged all our Australian employees to acknowledge and celebrate the proud heritage of Australia’s First Peoples and promote opportunities for career development, sustainable business growth, and economic participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians within our sector.
In 2016, we launched our second RAP with Reconciliation Australia, entitled ‘Building Respect: Past, Present, Future’, that expanded our commitment to Indigenous participation and achieved an ‘Elevate’ level status.

Gymea program is our national procurement strategy targeted at increasing procurement activity with Indigenous businesses.
Over $26 million spent in FY17 with certified Indigenous business (products and services). We are on track to double this spend in FY18.
