We know that suicide prevention is an enormously complex and sensitive challenge, which is why national days of action such as R U OK? Day are so important in raising awareness about suicide prevention.

Held this year on 12 September, R U OK? Day reminds us all of the importance of checking in with our friends, family members and colleagues who may be struggling. It is about taking time to have those conversations when you notice something has changed, and equipping yourself to help yourself and others.

Community Day 2017

This year’s R U OK? Day theme, Trust the Signs, calls on Australians to look out for signs that someone might be struggling. The free tour has travelled all around Australia, completing its journey in Sydney on R U OK? Day on Thursday 12 September 2019.

Along with R U OK? Lendlease also partners with Australian non-profit organisations such as beyondblue, MATES in Construction and Mental Health First Aid in raising awareness and support for mental health.
