Figtree Hill will deliver 1,700 new homes with parks, walking trails, cycle paths, adventure playground, local convenience stores and a community centre. The new Figtree Hill community will be defined by nature, history, and heritage.
The precinct was named after one of the site’s most prominent landmarks – an iconic fig tree which sits within the planned regional park. From the Figtree, the community will enjoy panoramic views spanning across the Nepean River all the way to the Blue Mountains and around to Dharawal National Park.
Figtree Hill has been designed to include an abundance of open space and natural outlook including parks, bushland and wetlands which will make up over a third of the precinct.

Figtree Hill aligns with Campbelltown City Council’s local housing strategy and was approved for urban development in 2017. Lots at Figtree Hill have sold out in record time reflecting the strong demand for housing in the Macarthur region.
As part of the extensive planning and consultation process environmental approvals have been granted by local, state and Federal Governments. Earthworks commenced on the site in 2022.
Lendlease is working with the NSW Government and has made offers and lodged plans on the safety upgrade of Appin Road which will include new intersections to the project and construction of wildlife underpasses. We are waiting for approvals to commence work.
Further information on the Appin Road Upgrade can be found on the Transport for NSW website.
