Meet our first Workplaces with Impact Grant recipient: the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Together, we’re helping build brighter futures for First Nations youth – one story at a time.

Our Workplaces with Impact Grant is about more than just funding. It’s about backing organisations that are creating real, lasting change. That’s why we’re proud to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) as the first of our four grant recipients.

A long-standing Lendlease partner and 2024 ALMA Laureate, ILF is piloting a new two-year Talent Pathways program that empowers First Nations youth in remote Communities. Through hands-on training in publishing and the creative arts, the program helps participants build skills, confidence and sustainable careers – without having to leave their Country, their families, or their culture behind.

This grant marks the next chapter in our partnership with ILF and reflects our shared belief that access to opportunity should never be limited.

Watch the video to hear from Zoe Cassim, proud Widjabul/Wia-bul woman and Head of Programs at ILF, and learn how this initiative is changing lives from the ground up.

The Workplaces with Impact Grant is our commitment to backing organisations that uplift, empower, and create lasting change in our communities. Alongside ILF, we’re proud to support Two Good Co., Good Shepherd & Fitted For Work, and Hotel Etico. You can read more about how these organisations are opening doors to meaningful employment here.
