“We have dozens of requirements that would be invisible to the resident, but they are there to make their experience seamless and to protect them and their apartment for decades to come. We’re pretty good at predicting what will happen during the 50-year design life of the building.
“The challenge is to keep the focus on the life and the serviceability of the project because you’re building someone’s home. We might be building 70 homes in one tower, so the challenge is, how do we build the best 70 homes that are co-located, that work best and can be maintained and kept in the best condition?”
