One Sydney Harbour and One Circular Quay offer a rare chance to become an integral part of the Sydney Harbour story with a legacy address.
The three towers of One Sydney Harbour, designed by internationally renowned architect Renzo Piano, mark the culmination of Barangaroo South’s decade-long transformation. The remarkable residential development offers ethereal, crystalline residences that seamlessly blend with Sydney Harbour’s iconic waterfront, at times appearing to float in the air.
One Sydney Harbour comprises 799 luxury apartments, including spacious units and penthouses. Project Director Daniel Baxter emphasises the Lendlease commitment to creating a community of residents who appreciate world-class amenities and incredible views.
“One Sydney Harbour is designed to be at a new level of luxury for Australia and was benchmarked at an international level,” he says. “We hold the record for the highest residential sale in Australia at over $140 million for the penthouse. But most notably, we’ve had consistent and strong demand across all product types at One Sydney Harbour.”
Daniel Baxter, Project Director
“This is a globally significant project for Lendlease,” Daniel adds. “It’s the highest level of luxury we’ve set out to accomplish. Our brand is built on landmark projects like this.”
One Circular Quay is another world-class residential tower set in a superb location – the heart of Sydney’s historic Circular Quay. The development features 158 luxury residences, with 99 per cent of apartments offering prized north-facing views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
Lendlease acquired the site in 2022 and inherited the architectural design from the esteemed Kerry Hill Architects.
“We then set about putting our own stamp on the interiors,” says Daniel Gonzalez, Senior Development Manager. He highlights the project’s focus on leveraging the Opera House and Harbour Bridge views to deliver a premium address for those seeking luxury apartments in the Sydney CBD.
“The building itself and its facade came with a pre-determined vision, so we focused on the internals of the apartments. We’ve worked with Daniel Goldberg and his team at State of Craft for a decade now. Their work at One Sydney Harbour was extremely successful, so there was no question for us as to who was going to do the interiors at One Circular Quay.”
“We do simple things inside our apartments that make a big difference,” Daniel says. “For example, the doors on your wardrobe aren’t 18 millimetres thick, which is the standard, but 25 millimetres thick. We add touches that make our apartments feel more premium and luxurious.”

The design phase of One Circular Quay and One Sydney Harbour was a meticulous process that balanced aesthetic appeal with functionality.
One Circular Quay features a sandstone base reflecting Sydney’s local context and history. Daniel Gonzalez says more than 30 different types of natural stone were used in construction, adding to each apartment’s uniqueness.
“Some of the sandstone being installed on the building is actually the sandstone that was quarried from the site in the basement excavation, which is a nice touch. I think Kerry Hill was very much inspired by having this sandstone base in the building."
“For the interiors, Daniel Goldberg was very inspired by the natural curves of the Sydney Harbour foreshore. So our interiors feature a lot of subtle curves and nice rounded edges, reflecting inside the apartment what people are seeing when they look out at the view."
“Meanwhile, One Sydney Harbour’s design, influenced by the interplay of water and light, features a crystalline facade with ultra-transparent low-iron glazing and triple-glazed units. Renzo Piano envisioned the towers as a collection of crystals, capturing and reflecting light to create a dynamic visual experience.”
