Lendlease announces Daniel Goldberg as interior designer for One Circular Quay

For over a decade, Goldberg and his design studio State of Craft have collaborated with world-famous architects including Renzo Piano on iconic residential projects such as The Shard Residences in London, as well as Lendlease’s prestigious One Sydney Harbour residential towers in Barangaroo South. 

The appointment extends Lendlease’s partnership with Goldberg, who has curated three sophisticated schemes for the One Circular Quay residences that are designed to be timeless and respond to the building’s architecture and prominent harbourfront location.  

Each interior palette draws on an element of the surrounding harbour landscape, taking inspiration from either the sky, ocean, or terrain, represented through a suite of high-quality finishes, colours and textures. Goldberg’s vision for the interiors is to compliment the backdrop of iconic views that will be seen from every residence within the landmark building. 

Buyers can choose from Aero, the lightest of the palettes, inspired by the morning sky and Sydney Opera House roof; the contrasting Aqua palette with dark stained oak walls and grey limestone flooring reflecting the night shades and reflections of the harbour basin; or the Terra palette which draws inspiration from the earthy tones and lush vegetation around the Quay and the Botanical Garden.

Designed by the late Australian architect Kerry Hill, One Circular Quay will include 158 residences, with all two, three and four-bedroom residences offering an enclosed winter garden and dual icon views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. 

Levels 50-55 will be home to six full-floor sub-penthouses, while levels 56-58 will be reserved for a three-level penthouse boasting five bedrooms, a private lift, floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Sydney’s harbour, and a north-facing swimming pool and terrace. Residents will have exclusive access to premium facilities, including a private indoor pool, gym, steam room and dedicated concierge services.

Since its exclusive off-market launch in late-2022, sales have surpassed $1 billion with more than 50 per cent of residences now pre-sold. The One Circular Quay residences are targeting completion in late 2026.
