"Without these 20 milestones and many more achieved by Lendlease Communities over the past 20 years, the military housing sector as a whole would look much different today,” said Carolyn Tregarthen, Managing Director of Lendlease Communities. “Our team has approached each day with a forward-thinking mindset and desire to set high industry standards for the places where our honorable military community lives, works and thrives. The best part is the job doesn’t stop here, and we have a steadfast vision for what we’ll accomplish alongside our tremendous military partners in the future.”

This year, Lendlease Communities, in partnership with the US Army, closed on a monumental $1.1 billion innovative financing structure that will expedite housing and community improvements over the next five years. The $1.1 billion will be used to renovate more than 12,000 existing homes and construct approximately 1,200 new homes across five military communities: Campbell Crossing, Fort Drum Mountain Community Homes, Fort Hood Family Housing, Knox Hills, and Island Palm Communities. This is just one example of how Lendlease Communities plans to invest in its communities for the next 30-plus years.

“None of what we have achieved in the past two decades would have been possible without our long and valued military partnerships, military service members and their families who trust us with their homes, and our talented and dedicated employees whose commitment to service is unwavering,” said Phillip Carpenter, Chief Operating Officer of Lendlease Communities. “Easing the burden for our brave military members by creating a sense of community is an honor, and just one way we can give back. We’ll continue to do so responsibly and sustainably, while establishing many more milestones for decades to come.”
