Project vision

Sydney Place, at 180 George Street, will encompass Sydney’s tallest workplace and a collection of new urban laneways hosting retail, dining, and the first major public square on George Street in decades.

At Sydney Place’s heart will be Salesforce Tower, a 56,000 square metre commercial tower created to deliver some of the most progressive workspace in the country. Beyond the tower, the ground plane will be a civic area including retail, a public bicycle hub and public art.

In addition to targeting leading sustainability ratings, the project will also see significant investment in the community including:

  • Major First Nations Artwork
  • Two-storey community building and three-storey Business Innovation Space within the commercial tower
  • Approximately half of Sydney Place Precinct has been dedicated to the public, including the first plaza on George Street in over 50 years.
  • More than 660 bike spaces provided across a public cycle facility, commercial end of trip facilities and public realm.

The project is a signed member of the Greater Sydney Commission Women’s Safety Charter, which aims to influence policy and practice to enable women and girls to feel safer in the City of Sydney.

Sydney Place will be enabled for digital efficiency through a WiredScore Platinum Rating and advanced workplace sensors will be incorporated to build operational intelligence and drive building efficiencies, human productivity and wellness outcomes.
