Rising above North Sydney’s new metro station, Victoria Cross is planned to be a vibrant new commercial and retail precinct.

With stage 1 completion in mid 2024, this $1.2 billion development represents the latest global thinking in place creation and workplace experience. Developed by Lendlease in partnership with the NSW Government, Victoria Cross will play a pivotal part in the revitalisation of North Sydney.

    Located at the epicentre of 'a new North Sydney', Victoria Cross Station offers connectivity like never before. Just three minutes from Barangaroo and five minutes from Martin Place using the metro, Victoria Cross will be a natural extension of the CBD.

    North Sydney is poised to transform into a 18-hour a day drinking, dining and recreation hotspot just minutes from Sydney's CBD. With direct access to the Metro, the Victoria Cross retail and dining precinct will be at the heart of this new work, live and play economy.

    Designed by Bates Smart to facilitate collaboration and innovation with a range of third spaces, you will find dynamic and flexible workplace options for your people. Reaching 42 storeys high, this premium grade commercial office tower offers views across Sydney Harbour to the CBD and beyond.

Victoria Cross will have 20 food and beverage retailers across the precinct in total, with 13 of these opening next year in the concourse and laneway. The remaining 7 retailers across Miller House and Miller Terraces & The Lobby will open in 2025. 

Among the notable retailers, Newtown patriarch's Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham will bring their famed burger joint Mary’s across the bridge. Slated to open in mid 2024, Mary’s will be joined by cultural icon Marrickville Pork Roll along with Only Coffee, Top Impressions Bakery, Sushi Hub, DOPA, North Sandwiches, Machi Machi and McDonald’s. With 20 retailers across the precinct, more venues will be announced in coming months.
