Settlement City

Settlement City is the largest shopping centre in the Greater Port Macquarie region, with an evolving retail mix that will sustain its growth well into the future. It is home to the only Woolworths in the CBD area of Port Macquarie, combined with Big W, Best & Less and The Reject Shop, making it the go-to centre for convenience.

Settlement City total trade area has an estimated population of 86,880 as of December 2021, which is forecast to grow at an average annual rate of 1.3% reaching 105,330 by 2036. The average age of the main trade area population is 45.5 years. The main trade area average household income is $74,296 with 44.7% percentage of population with dependent children.

Our trade area

The Settlement City total trade area includes two primary sectors, two secondary sectors and two tertiary sectors. The combined primary sectors extend from the Pacific Highway in the west, to the coastline in the east, including the suburbs of Port Macquarie, Lake Innes, North Shore, Riverside, Thrumster and Fernbank Creek. The total trade area is defined to extend up to 30 km north and south of the site, and beyond to Mount Seaview in the west.
