Macarthur Square is the largest and most extensive shopping destination in Sydney’s south-west. The centre boasts a range of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences delivered in a contemporary, fresh and family-friendly setting. 

At the heart of the community since 1979, families from across the region visit Macarthur Square to enjoy a curated selection of local and national fashion, dining and lifestyle brands. The centre is home to the only David Jones in the Macarthur Region as well as an array of fashion and beauty brands including H&M, Sephora, Mecca Maxima, Country Road, Seed, Decjuba, Peter Alexander, Mimco and many more. 

The centre’s entertainment and leisure precinct, Kellicar Lane, is popular amongst families with Event Cinemas, Kingpin Bowling, The Bavarian, Enzos Cucina topping the list of experiences. ALDI, Coles, Woolworths and Macarthur Square Fruit Market complete the centre’s convenient fresh food and supermarket offering.

Macarthur Square total trade area has an estimated population of 489,630 as of December 2021, which is forecast to grow at an average annual rate of 2.7% reaching 727,930 by 2036. The average age of the main trade area population is 35.5 years. The main trade area average household income is $103,215 with 60.5% percentage of population with dependent children.

Our trade area

The Macarthur Square total trade area includes one primary sector, four secondary sectors and two tertiary sectors. The primary sector extends some 2 – 10 km around the site to include the Campbelltown Central Business Area (CBA), as well as the surrounding suburbs of Blair Athol, Airds, Bradbury, Rosemeadow, Ambarvale, Ruse and St Helens Park. The total trade area is defined to extend between 15 – 75 km from Macarthur Square, including the area 15 - 20 km to the north and east and 70 – 75 km to the south and west.
