LSKD opens at Sunshine Plaza!

Australian sportswear brand LSKD has opened it's 10th retail store in Australia at Lendlease's Sunshine Plaza, marking two years since the brand pivoted strategy with a focus on their bricks-and-mortar presence.

The new 150 square metre store will offer exclusive products, activewear and athleisure fashion. It will also feature unique elements like an external manifesto wall, a local community board, a bra and legging wall, and light box displays aiming to create it's own community of LSKD fitness fanatics.

This new store will increase LSKD’s total number of stores in Australia to 10, complimenting their standalone store in San Diego, California, which also serves as their US headquarters.

To celebrate the opening, LSKD hosted a grand event on March 30. The event featured their popular swap deal tradition, where customers can exchange any pair of tights or shorts for a new LSKD pair. The brand will recycle or re-use the donated items in partnership with Upparel.

• Grand opening day: First 600 customers could swap old tights or shorts for new tights or shorts
• They ran other giveaways and events during their opening week, including sponsoring your weekly yoga with giveaways for the attendees
• They spent a lot of time visiting local gyms and business giving away free products and creating hype around the opening.
• The closest store is Westfield Chermside and customers on the Sunshine Coast either drive to Brisbane or shop online, so the store opening at the centre is part of centre’s strategy to bring the most wanted brands to the coast.
