LSKD opens at Sunshine Plaza!

Sunshine Plaza was pleased to welcome Australian sportswear brand LSKD’s newest Australian store to our centre earlier this year, greeted by eagerly awaiting crowds of customers ready to explore the latest in activewear.

This 150-square-metre store marks LSKD’s 10th retail location in Australia just two years after the brand initiated its bricks-and-mortar strategy. The store features exclusive activewear and athleisure fashion clothing, and boasts unique in-store elements, including an external manifesto wall, a local community board and specialised displays. 

To celebrate the grand opening, LSKD offered the first 600 customers the opportunity to participate in a ‘swap deal’ — exchanging any pair of tights or shorts for a new LSKD pair. The brand pledged to recycle or repurpose the donated items through its partnership with textile recovery and recycling organisation Upparel. This initiative is part of LSKD's sustainability commitment and efforts to engage with local customers in meaningful ways.

Further driving interest, the store’s opening week included several promotional activities, such as sponsoring local yoga sessions with exclusive giveaways and partnering with nearby gyms and businesses to generate buzz. 

This proactive engagement with customers and the Sunshine Coast community reflects LSKD’s community-focused ethos and mirrors Sunshine Plaza’s dedication to curating immersive experiences for our shoppers. LSKD’s retail approach is designed to create a dynamic and engaging environment for customers, fostering a community of fitness enthusiasts right here at Sunshine Plaza.
