Tweed City total trade area has an estimated population of 147,620 as of December 2021, which is forecast to grow at an average annual rate of 1.1% reaching 173,920 by 2036. The average age of the main trade area population is 44.5 years. The main trade area average household income is $74,356 with 46.4% percentage of population with dependent children.

Our trade area

The Tweed Mall trade area includes three primary sectors, three secondary sectors and one tertiary sector. The combined primary sectors span 5-20km around the centre over the NSW/QLD border to include the suburbs of Tweed Heads South, Kingscliff and Cobaki. The secondary north sector extends to Coolangatta, with the remaining secondary and tertiary sectors extending south to include Ballina and Lismore.
