Sydney's new city neighbourhood
Sydney’s food and bar scene is flourishing. From urban craft breweries and gin distilleries to artisanal bakeries and fusion food pop ups. Every Sydneysider has that place they are happy to queue and wait for.
At Darling Square, some of the best food experiences that Sydney has to offer are right outside your front door.
Step outside and Chinatown is just around the corner. Follow your nose and let the smells of pork buns and roast duck draw you through the streets and the many tastes of Asia. Amongst the hustle and bustle, brightly lit eateries promise quick and easy meals alongside tempting snacks. Stroll in any direction and you will be sure to stumble across Sydney’s foodie institutions.
Closer to home, our vision is to create the newest culinary creation on the city’s foodie scene – a European inspired market food hall at the base of The Darling Exchange (subject to planning approval). Here you’ll find fresh produce sellers setting up shop next to gourmet food vendors with the tastiest finger food and share plates on offer. Of course, you can always finish your day by sneaking off to the little laneway bar for that last tipple or take in the view from the rooftop eatery and bar. The choice is yours!
