Lendlease will deliver 160 new apartments for social and affordable housing as the delivery and construction partner for St George Community Housing at 11 Gibbons St in Redfern. The project envisages a diversity of housing choice aimed at connecting people to opportunity and aligns strongly to Lendlease’s values of creating better places in the community.

Lendlease is committed to proactively facilitating opportunities for local procurement, employment and training opportunities for the community throughout the construction of the project. Overview

Construction is currently underway with an expected completion for the project mid-2021. The building has reached its full height with the tower structure and facade complete. Apartment fit-out works are underway with apartments currently being completed. Final works to complete include the remaining ground floor brickwork, lobby facade and external public domain works which are currently in progress. As the project approaches completion, updates will be published to this website and relevant stakeholders notified.
