International Towers Acknowledged as the World's Most Sustainable Office Fund

Leading experts see climate change as the greatest threat to humanity, and that’s a claim we’re taking seriously. If we’re going to really make a difference and be truly sustainable – environmentally, socially and economically – our industry needs to evolve now.

Leading experts see climate change as the greatest threat to humanity, and that’s a claim we’re taking seriously. If we’re going to really make a difference and be truly sustainable – environmentally, socially and economically – our industry needs to evolve now. That’s why we’re committed to leading this evolution with our new, bold and ambitious sustainability targets.

As a testament to our work in support of these targets I’m so pleased to share with you that we’ve achieved leading rankings in the 2020 GRESB Real Estate Assessments.

GRESB is an in independent assessment of sustainability performance in real estate and infrastructure assets – it’s used by investors to determine portfolios which integrate leading environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

Lendlease International Towers Sydney office trust was recognised as the global leader in its sector with other Lendlease funds taking leading positions in retail, industrial and retirement living.

Lendlease entities in Australia, Europe and America also ranked first globally out of 412 participants in the voluntary Resilience module. These results are aligned to Lendlease’s target to be a 1.5ºC aligned company and to create measured social value.

These are fantastic results and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with our investors, our partners and tenants to create the industry transformation that is needed to continue to tackle climate crisis and achieve our bold new sustainability targets.
