The power of partnerships

I’m very proud that Lendlease has partnered with Opportunity London to promote sustainable investment into real estate, regeneration and green infrastructure across London's boroughs and communities.  It’s a relationship that is very important to us and, at this week's MIPIM property conference, I was excited to be invited to speak at the London Pavilion and help showcase the vast opportunities for development and investment in the capital.

Our success is built on strong partnerships and bringing together the right pieces of the puzzle – investors, developers, policymakers, and local communities – is fundamental to the amazing projects we work on.  We’re in a complex business and, given the scale of our projects, having a partner we can talk to, who can help us find solutions, share ideas, and drive schemes forward, is invaluable. 

The current excitement and positive momentum surrounding London has been evident at home as well as in Cannes.  In recent months, we’ve experienced one of our busiest ever periods of global investors approaching us. Seeing their interest, the myriad of opportunities, and the willingness to move forward in London is inspirational for businesses like ours.

Sustainability is central to our vision. Many places talk about it, but our ambition and commitment are to truly see London lead in this area and to work with partners like Opportunity London to achieve it.  In the world we live in, it’s crucial to be in places that welcome this approach.
