One of the biobanks on our development will be incorporated into Noorumba Reserve, which is a registered biobank. This will increase its size from 38 hectares to 45 hectares of koala habitat.

Biobanking is a State Government scheme that governs how we restore the area’s indigenous habitat to benefit local species. This includes the local koala colony.

Our success depends on our ability to deliver healthy, resilient, culturally and environmentally inclusive outcomes that create long term value for the communities in which we operate.

That’s why we decided to purchase our offset credits locally and at a higher cost than if we’d chosen to buy them elsewhere in New South Wales.

Any development impacting the local environment requires an assessment under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. Our application has been publicly exhibited and is under final assessment.
