Lendlease was retained at the planning phase as project manager to assist the Client team with team coordination, listing requirements, proposing a procurement method for architect and contractor selection, ordering system, design competition and bidding, selection, design cost and schedule control. Specially, it was critical for Lendlease as a project manager to coordinate among many parties. Lendlease also ensured accountability for the project progress and process by enforcing cost control and design changes. The project was to renew guest rooms, hallway, elevator hall, furniture, air-conditioning system, and carpets in the lobby and banquet rooms.
