Lendlease continues safety leadership with bizSAFE Partner award wins

This marks the fourth consecutive win for Jem, a first for any mall, and the third consecutive award for 313@somerset. Lendlease’s record reflects its steadfast commitment to the health and safety for all – shoppers, retailers, contractors and staff.
Jenny Khoo, Head of Asset Operations, Singapore at Lendlease said, “The continued recognition of our efforts at the annual bizSAFE Awards is testament to the dedication of our staff and partners towards safety. We are honoured to be recognised for our commitment in creating a culture of care for all.”
Lendlease requires its contractors to maintain a minimal bizSAFE level 3 certification to qualify for projects within the malls. Lendlease also works closely with tenants to uplift their bizSAFE status further, including sponsoring and guiding new tenants’ bizSAFE applications to encourage further participation in the safety journey. At 313@somerset, retailers have also been involved in SG Secure initiatives like Exercise Heartbeat.
Lendlease regularly engages contractors, staff and members of the public through educational tours, best practices presentations and encouragement to participate in relevant seminars, talks, briefings and workshops organised by qualified workplace safety & health providers.
