Port of Melbourne, new retail tenants latest addition to Victoria Harbour

Port of Melbourne will join anchor tenant ANZ and Australia’s largest global insurer QBE at 839 Collins Street, taking almost 2,000sqm on Level 19 – the building’s top floor.
ANZ pre-committed to 26,500sqm of the building, with QBE set to occupy circa 6,000sqm across three floors. Only one floor remains available for lease at the Denton Corker Marshall designed building, which is located where Collins Street meets the Yarra River.
The 39,000sqm building reached practical completion this week. The first commercial tenants are expected to move in from April.
Port of Melbourne employees will enjoy an enviable, sweeping bird's eye view of 500 hectares of their port asset, which includes 21 kilometres of waterfront. The building also includes an outdoor garden and terrace with a multi-purpose sports court and outdoor seating, available for all tenants. Port of Melbourne is set to move later in 2019.
In addition, Lendlease has secured tenants for five of the six retail shops in what is Victoria Harbour’s last major commercial building.
The Other Brother by Melbourne hospitality venture Continental Hospitality Group will operate a signature restaurant and lobby café. The same group are behind Mr Grazier at 700 Bourke Street and Super Eight at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
Other tenants set to open their doors in the coming months include Chilangos Mexican Cantina, PonyBoy and Thai Thani, leaving one shop available for lease.
