Lendlease Bolsters Americas Business with the Addition of Mike Fratianni

Mr. Council, who joined the Americas business in 2017 from Lendlease’s Australian headquarters, has overseen the expansion of the firm’s dominant share of market in the residential sector into positions in the design/build, healthcare, commercial office and hospitality sectors.

Mr. Fratianni spent most of his career at Hunt Construction Group, a construction management firm based in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he rose from a field engineer in the Indianapolis office of Huber, Hunt and Nichols to lead the firm through its acquisition by AECOM in 2014 and afterwards.  

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Fratianni served as President, Chief Executive Officer of Hunt and Chief Operating Officer of AECOM Hunt. He brings extensive experience and subject matter expertise, having contributed to a variety of notable projects, including the International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (Atlanta); McCormick Place West Expansion (Chicago); the Barclays Center (Brooklyn); and Walter Tower - Methodist Hospital (Houston).
