Lendlease appoints Managing Director of China

Based in Shanghai, Ding will oversee the growth of the firm’s business in China, including Ardor Gardens, Lendlease's flagship Senior Living development located in Qingpu district, Shanghai.

Ding has more than 25 years of industry experience in real estate, financial management and general management. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of IKEA Centres China since August 2008, where he oversaw the group’s expansion, investments, development, leasing and operations in China. Ding had joined IKEA in December 2003 as the CFO of IKEA China and later took on the role of Vice President & Managing Director of IKEA China Investment Company in 2006.
Prior to joining IKEA, Ding’s career spanned across several multi-national corporations in China including PepsiCo Food China, American Standard China and Philips Lighting.
Ding holds a Master of Business Administration from Fudan University in Shanghai and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Hangzhou Electronic & Technology University.
