  • 14 Apr 2021
“We are delighted to bring on two highly accomplished CRE leaders with extensive backgrounds in placemaking, development and management,” said Claire Johnston, Managing Director of Google Real Estate Development. “Meg and Race will help continue the momentum that we’ve built at Lendlease and are a natural fit to help the growth of our Bay Area communities.”

Bringing 20 years of multifamily and development experience, Spriggs will be responsible for ensuring innovative projects are executed at scale for Lendlease’s Residential portfolio of circa 15,000 dwellings. Before joining Lendlease, Spriggs was Managing Director at Shorenstein Properties where she led the expansion of a multifamily investments platform overseeing the development and investment in a $1B urban multifamily portfolio around the U.S. She also spent more than eight years as VP of Development at AvalonBay Communities, Inc, where she oversaw the acquisition, design and development of large multifamily projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.

“I am honored to join the amazing team, pipeline and growth opportunity at Lendlease,” said Meg Spriggs, Head of Residential at Lendlease. “I have long admired the important community regeneration and placemaking work Lendlease has accomplished and I look forward to applying my multifamily experience to create value for Lendlease projects across the Bay Area.”

With nearly 20 years of real estate and development experience, Randle will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and business plan for the Lendlease’s Integrated Ground Plane across various districts in Silicon Valley.

Prior to joining Lendlease, Randle was SVP of Planning & Development for The Howard Hughes Corporation where he oversaw the planning and redevelopment of a master planned community of 9.3 million square feet including over 4,300 homes. Randle also spent more than four years at Forest City Enterprises where he managed a variety of real estate acquisitions and developments.

“Lendlease is a strategy-driven company with a proven track record of delivering innovative projects with imaginative, vibrant designs,” said Race Randle, Head of Retail and Place. “Its commitment to building a better tomorrow through placemaking is one that I have admired and look forward to embracing with the team. I am excited to come on board at such a pivotal moment in the company’s growth and look forward to the opportunity to implement strategies that re-define mixed-use communities.”
