Lendlease has unveiled a new landmark office building in East London. Located at Stratford Cross, the Turing Building includes 350,000 square feet of sustainable Grade A office space and was designed by architects Arney Fender Katsalidis. It’s the first building to be delivered as part of Lendlease’s joint venture with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) at Stratford Cross on the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Spanning 21 floors, the Turing Building offers potential occupiers modern and adaptable spaces and a mix of single and multi-tenant options to allow the space to evolve with its occupants over time. The office building has dual consent for both office and educational use, making it a flexible and unique offering for businesses and educational institutions.

Beyond workspace, the Turing Building offers event facilities, an active lobby, a roof terrace and an on-site Everyman cinema which is now open, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for its tenants. Level 21, a dedicated amenity floor, features premium spaces designed to enhance tenant experience, including breakout areas and collaboration spaces.

The building’s location in Stratford Cross, with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and East Bank on its doorstep, adds to its appeal. Visitors will benefit from Stratford Cross’ thriving café and restaurant scene, including high-street favourites, local independents, including European all-day dining restaurant, Templar, Greek-inspired restaurant, Hera and global brands such as Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen, plus easy access to Westfield’s extensive retail offer.

As well as being located within the SHIFT Innovation District, occupiers in the Turing Building will benefit from its proximity to East Bank’s cultural and educational institutions. London College of Fashion, UAL, and UCL East (University College London) opened the doors of their new campuses in Autumn 2023. Sadler’s Wells East will open in February 2025, V&A East Storehouse will open in May 2025, followed by its David Bowie Centre in September 2025. V&A East Museum is scheduled to open in spring 2026, and BBC Music Studios in late 2026/early 2027. The Turing Building is an exciting opportunity to join London’s new cultural district and a community of forward-thinking professionals and creatives.

Guy Thomas, Head of Leasing, Lendlease, said: “The Turing Building is a best-in-class asset with market leading amenity and sustainability credentials. Its location near key cultural, educational, and sporting facilities as well as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park gives potential occupiers a chance to join an ecosystem that is truly unrivalled outside of the West End.

“The draw of the area is already clear. As well as strong interest in viewing the Turing Building, we’re attracting established names from the hospitality sector, with the arrival of Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, and Everyman now open in Turing. Sadler’s Wells East and V&A East Storehouse will join the East Bank cultural institutions next year, as the area continues to emerge as London’s new cultural and innovation hub. The Turing Building is perfectly positioned to connect businesses and institutions to this thriving community of forward-thinking organisations and world-leading talent.”
