We have set ourselves a target to create $250 million of social value by 2025
In 2020, Lendlease announced an ambitious social value target, to create $250 million of social value by 2025 and a four-step pathway to creating and measuring social value.
Our $250 million target includes the social value created through our corporate shared value partnerships and Community Grants program, which are supported by the Lendlease Foundation, as
well as other initiatives such as Future Steps, which is funded by the business. Importantly, our social value target focuses on initiatives that go above and beyond any project or asset contractual obligations.
Our social value target reflects our ambition to make a positive impact on people’s lives by improving their quality of life, supporting health and wellbeing, providing economic opportunities, improving the local environment, and building resilient and thriving communities.

We are partnering with like-minded organisations
To create social value, we are partnering with like-minded, not-for-profit, community organisations, whose work aligns to the Lendlease Foundation constitution and value pillars and supports the objectives of the Lendlease Sustainability Framework focus areas.

We are creating social value on project and assets
Our $250 million by 2025 social value target does not include the extensive social value created by our project and assets teams. However, we are beginning to capture and measure the social value we are creating through initiatives delivered across our projects and assets, including skilling and training, employment and volunteering.
In April 2022, we launched our social value campaign #ALittleHelpToThrive to show the ways we’re creating value around the world through our shared value partnerships and Community Grants program.
