Lendlease is partnering with Singtel to redevelop Singtel’s Comcentre headquarters in Singapore into a S$3 billion world class sustainable workplace featuring the latest smart building and digital technologies.
Project Highlights
Singtel and Lendlease have entered into a joint venture for the redevelopment. Lendlease will provide development, construction and ongoing property and asset management services, complementing the digital and technology leadership skills of Singtel.
The redeveloped Comcentre is designed by a renowned team of architects including New York-based Kohn Pedersen Fox and New York-based landscape architects, Field Operations. The redevelopment will be a showcase of what sustainable urban development looks like as Singapore’s first end-to-end carbon neutral development from design, construction to operation.
The project is targeting to achieve Green Mark Platinum (Zero Energy) Building status. It is designed to achieve 50% energy savings compared to 2021 BCA Green Mark baseline with innovative hybrid air-conditioning system with active chilled beams, micro zoning, occupancy driven cooling as well as thermal transition design and operations.
Forecast to complete in 2028, the development will create a new asset for Singtel, as demand for the new development is expected to be high given the scarcity of Grade A office space and limited upcoming supply in the Orchard Road precinct.
