    A key attribute of the cost consultant should be to be pre-emptive rather than reactive. As cost consultants we work to identify potential issues at the earliest opportunity, facilitated by a collaborative approach with our wider client and design team. Through this dynamic approach to managing cost and budget we enable our clients and empower them to make sound and informed business decisions in a controlled and considered manner.

    Cost management is a core component of our project delivery function and is a key part of the service we offer across most of our Lendlease project commissions.

    Providing confidence that projects are designed and delivered safely

    Our CDM Advisory services provide any project with an opportunity to draw on the skill, knowledge and experiences of our team, to enhance the health and safety success of the project. We assist duty holders to fully understand their responsibilities and to maintain CDM compliance.

    At Lendlease we deliver CDM advisory services to align to each duty holder, providing advice and guidance to comply with their duties. We provide Principal Designer and Principal Designer Advisor services working closely with clients and architects to plan, manage and monitor the specific duties and ensure CDM Compliance.

    Our approach with our CDM services is not only to provide a service but to educate and train others in their understanding of CDM 2015. This is born out of the varied client base we have and also our repeat and new business. We work with architectural practices to review and update their CDM processes and develop organisation to meet the specific CDM requirements.

    Your road map to net zero carbon and beyond

    At Lendlease we know how to push the boundaries of embodied carbon reduction and are excited to see how far we can go. For every volume of CO2e we omit from a project we are omitting from the planet and that’s a good thing for us all.

    With a deep seated knowledge based on our understanding of end-to-end construction project cycles we can confidently say that even before we have been selected for a project we have probably already considered or assessed a project's initial carbon position.

    We can offer our clients roadmaps of how we can achieve lower carbon targets, which can then be broken down into more detailed analysis. Our Life Cycle Assessment approach and in-house assessment tools will create outcomes and allow clients to collect data that is easily trackable and measurable for a future calculation of their carbon footprint.

    Our teams have the tools needed to produce upfront analysis of our clients' projects. This enables early decision making and helps reduce both carbon and waste throughout the programme. Our specialists will work with you to set hard commitments and to achieve market leading diversion of waste.

    Having led the industry and created benefits of BIM for ourselves, Lendlease Consulting can offer this experience and knowledge and provides BIM consultancy services to support other organisations on their digital transformation journeys.

  • Our Lendlease Programme or Project Management Office (PMO) offers rigorous best practice controls that enable the delivery of efficient and successful projects and programmes.

    With each opportunity, we apply the discipline of PMO to achieve our clients' KPIs, aspirations and values. We improve performance, drive change and realise efficiencies. We do this by integrating our project control team within the broader project team, providing a range of programme, cost, commercial and technical services to ensure projects are delivered effectively.

    Regardless of the scale or complexity of a project, we employ and refine systems and processes to provide control, governance and transparency from inception to completion.

We are early leaders in tackling industry climate change and inherently sustainability is rooted in our DNA and integrated into all that we do. This makes us ideally placed to support our clients in achieving their own sustainability goals.

As a 1.5% aligned company, we aim to be net carbon zero by 2025 for scope 1 & 2 emissions and absolute zero carbon by 2040 across scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with no offsets and no excuses. With initiatives already in place to eliminate fossil fuel emissions onsite and drive down embodied carbon, our Construction business is well placed to help our clients achieve their own carbon targets too.
