IQL Office is a 50:50 limited partnership co-invested by Lendlease and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP) in Stratford Cross, London.
The partnership has recently completed the development of The Turing Building, one of four new office buildings planned for Stratford Cross. Combined, the partnership will deliver over 1.6m square feet of new workplace and retail space, with an estimated gross development value of approximately £1.5bn.
The Turing Building
Designed by architect Arney Fender Katsalidis, the Turing Building has been created to maximise sustainability and wellbeing while supporting collaboration and new ways of working. So much more than an office, with dual education and workspace consent, The Turing Building offers both modern, flexible, sustainable workspace and an opportunity to be at the centre of an evolving and powerful ecosystem of business, culture, creativity, education, sports and innovation.
With efficient, clear floorplates and 350,000 sq ft Grade A space across 21 floors, full height glazing on all elevations, flexible event space, a biodiverse roof top terrace, Everyman Cinema and diverse retailers, The Turing Building at Stratford Cross is designed for modern flexible working and collaborative innovation.
With sustainability embedded in its design, the Turing Building is targeting BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Gold certification and EPC A certification. It is also targeting Wiredscore Platinum for its connectivity and tech credentials. The Turing Building will be net zero carbon in construction, with a 30 per cent reduction in embodied carbon compared with industry benchmarks and emissions offset via high-quality carbon offsets.
