Landmark projects include the Harold Washington Library Center, the Navy Pier Reconstruction, Chicagoland Speedway, Children’s Memorial Medical Center, the O’Hare International Airport Development program and Trump International Hotel & Tower.
Recent completions include 448 North LaSalle, a new office building located on previously vacant land at the southwest corner of Illinois and LaSalle; Porte, a mixed-use development in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood encompassing a full city block; 800 Fulton, a new high-rise office building in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood; One Bennett Park, 70-story residential high-rise; The Cooper at Southbank, a 452-unit apartment building; 151 North Franklin, a new Class A office tower; 10-30 South Wacker Lobby renovations and 717 South Clark, a mixed-use building in Chicago’s South Loop.
Current projects underway include Lakeshore East, which will create three high rise residential towers located on a prominent parcel of land where Lake Michigan meets the Chicago River; 166 North Aberdeen, a 224-unit residential building; 1400 South Wabash, a 31-story building with 299 apartments and Southbank, a new neighborhood ideally located on the bank of the Chicago River. This long and productive history in the Chicago market has allowed Lendlease to cultivate relationships with accomplished and dependable trade contractors, suppliers and specialty consultants. The firm’s longevity in the marketplace also speaks to Lendlease’s command of local construction regulations, knowledge of oversight processes and strong working relationship with local agency officials.
