Our history is rich in landmark projects, some of which are integral to the economy of the region. From the largest public sector design-build project in California to the one of the tallest residential buildings on the San Francisco skyline, the office provides general contracting and construction related consulting services to an established and growing local client base. In addition, Lendlease is developing Hayes Point, a 333-unit mixed use project in downtown San Francisco and is in partnership with Google to develop, design, build and deliver 15,000 new homes to the Silicon Valley.
In addition to its established construction business, Lendlease is committed to growing its development capabilities in San Francisco and is focused on implementing sustainable, urban regeneration projects throughout California. Lendlease recently announced it has entered into an agreement with Google to jointly undertake the master planning, entitlement and development of three major areas in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Lendlease estimates that it will develop up to 15 million square feet of residential, retail, hospitality, and other associated community uses in the new neighborhoods. Google will focus on developing its office space within these mixed communities.
We strive to apply innovative processes and unique solutions to optimize all facets of our endeavors. Utilizing a highly respected international network, and smart building and project management tools available, the Lendlease San Francisco team provides customized services to the public and private sectors.
Lendlease has a proud history in Northern California with over 17 million square feet of construction experience. The San Francisco office has set new standards in delivering innovation on projects such as Lumina, luxury condominiums on San Francisco's waterfront; The Watermark, a deluxe residence also in San Francisco, developed and built by Lendlease; Santana Row, a 1.7 million square foot residential mixed-use urban living center in downtown San Jose; and the California Prison Health Care Project, the largest design-build project in California featuring a revolutionary Lean Construction/Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) program, and setting a new paradigm for large public building programs.
